Roeslein & Associates, Inc. will begin offering online safety training courses and testing for employees this fall. The new addition to Roeslein’s safety program will entail a series of training modules and tests made available to employees which will include nearly 200 titles ranging from Construction Safety and Incident Reporting to Hazard Communication. Employees will be able to access the training modules on the company’s internal network from office and project locations worldwide via internet connection.

Previously, all safety training required participants to be in one of Roeslein’s offices. The new system will allow those employees at site to instantly have access to an extensive list of trainings for site-specific conditions such as lead or asbestos exposure compliance training. This allows Roeslein to be more proactive in preparing employees at site for any safety challenges they may encounter as site conditions change over the course of a project.

Roeslein’s safety manager, Ryan Kirkpatrick, has plans to implement a standardized and regular online safety program. “We’re working to put a system in place that offers all of our employees timely and immediate access to the required training modules. I’d also like to see an annual plan where employees have a timeline for module completion and managers will have the ability to easily pull reports detailing what training has been completed. It’s these systems that will help us provide an even safer environment for everyone involved in our projects,” said Kirkpatrick.
