Roeslein & Associates, Inc. is set to complete its largest project to date for its Process & Energy group. The refinery project is part of a larger plant modification and a modular construction approach allowing the plant to function normally as the modules are fabricated in Roeslein’s 375,000 square foot fabrication facility in Red Bud, Ill.

The project consists of 28 process modules and 11 pipe rack modules for which Roeslein provided detail engineering, 3D design, fabrication drawings and complete in-house fabrication of the complex systems. Overall, 600 tons of structural steel and more than 14,000 linear feet of piping was employed to complete this massive project, including galvanizing and fireproofing services.

The timeline for the project spanned a period of 10 months and module delivery will be scheduled in stages beginning in August and reaching completion in October of 2015.

“The scope of this project required us to start seriously thinking about expanding our under-roof square footage for our fabrication facility,” said Roeslein Modular Fabrication General Manager Tom Reichardt. “We spent a good part of last year working on a 50,000 square foot addition and this project quickly moved in and filled the space.”

Roeslein & Associates was founded in 1990, specializing in engineering, modular fabrication and construction services. The company has product offerings in both the container manufacturing (canmaking) industry and the process and energy sectors with annual revenues over $200 million. Its 350+ employees are spread throughout offices in St. Louis, MO (HQ), Red Bud, IL, Denver, CO, Birmingham, UK and Shanghai, China. To find out more, please visit https://roeslein.com.
