Roeslein Michigan City donated welding equipment to the A.K. Smith Career Center Welding program in November of last year.

Through the Roeslein Way’s Charitable Giving committee, they donated 50 hoods, 50 pairs of gloves, and 50 jackets to students pursuing welding at the career center.

Alex Strelinski, Operations Manager, said, “Giving back is not just about making a donation; it is about making a difference. I could think of no better way to give back to our community than supporting the A.K. Smith Center as they teach students pursuing trades”.

This donation will help vocational students pursue their passions and desire to learn. Roeslein Michigan City hopes to further support A.K. Smith Career Center students in the future by offering facility tours.
