In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, the Roeslein Way’s Diversity and Inclusion committee organized a series of events and an internal communications campaign for all of Roeslein’s domestic locations. From September 15th to October 15th, Hispanic Heritage Month is an annual celebration of the history and culture of U.S. Latinx and Hispanic communities.

The D&I committee kicked off the month-long celebration by catering Mexican Sweet bread for each office. Additionally, Roeslein shared facts about Hispanic Heritage month internally and highlighted employees from Hispanic and Latino backgrounds. Each domestic location hosted an on-site lunch with tacos or tamales to close out the celebrations.

Diversity and Inclusion Committee Member, Diosana De Leon, played a significant role in organizing the activities. She said, “As a Latina, I am proud to work for a company that recognizes and celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month. It is a great opportunity to celebrate diversity and share our traditions with those from different cultural backgrounds.”

At Roeslein, we are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. We strive to continually lead with our values and beliefs, which enables our employees to fully develop their potential.

This celebration was made possible by The Roeslein Way. The Roeslein Way program enables employees to benefit others and challenge each other on how they contribute to making their communities a better place to work and live. Roeslein encourages all employees to volunteer their time to local community service efforts. Employees have opportunities to volunteer as a group to impact surrounding communities while building valuable coworker relationships positively.
