Roeslein & Associates celebrated Black History Month by featuring African Americans with a significant role in U.S. history as an educational campaign. The campaign ran throughout February. The campaign consisted of “Did You Know?” weekly graphics highlighting individuals who made significant leaps with their industries.

Lisa Lewis, Human Resources Manager, states, “In an effort to not only educate employee-owners on the rich diversity at Roeslein, the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) committee wants to honor our differences and kicked off the ‘Did You Know?’ series in February during Black History Month. This series highlights and celebrates the achievements of those that identify as having Black American heritage in STEM careers. The D&I committee will continue this educational series throughout 2021 for each heritage month.”

February has been designated and celebrated as Black History Month in the United States since 1976. Other countries, including Canada and the United Kingdom, also devote a month to celebrating Black history. To learn more about Black History Month, visit
