Roeslein & Associates is known widely for its consulting, engineering, fabrication and construction services. However, the company strives to combine these services with its engineered products to provide a successful ongoing operation for the client. With its unique services and product capabilities, Roeslein can provide complete systems integration and projects utilizing the best technologies available, ultimately providing fully operational production facilities and process systems.

As the company continues to grow, so does its list of products offered. Roeslein & Associates is proud to unveil a new product they are adding to its repertoire at METPACK 2017, a metal packaging trade show, in Essen, Germany, May 2nd-6th. This is one of the largest tradeshows for the metal packaging industry and works as an exemplary platform for the unveiling of their new product, the Decorator Cooling System.

The Decorator Cooling System is a simple, decentralized control for the temperature of the decorator’s inkers, gearbox, and the Overvarnish Tank. It has been designed to provide and maintain stable temperature control by means of a pump, chiller, system of control valves, and a heater. It utilizes the latest technology for integrated pump and valve control and is comprised entirely of non-ferrous materials for the best corrosion resistance.

“We have years of experience in the integration and operation of numerous systems from the most simple to the most complex and have developed a system that addresses the issues and limitations with both ends of the spectrum,” said Paul Luebke, Director of Engineering for Roeslein & Associates. He continued by saying, “We have developed a system that minimizes complexity, maximizes flexibility, and utilizes the latest control valve and pump technology.”

While the Decorating Cooling System is a notable achievement for the company, they have seen significant amounts of success with other products pertaining to the canmaking industry. Most recently, the company started focusing on directing more attention to its Line Control and Data Management Systems compromised of both hardware and software. The hardware typically includes programmable logic controllers, control panels, computers, and other electrical hardware for the control of a facility’s production lines. Specific to the canmaking industry, Roeslein develops its own software for controlling production lines, and has developed an information and data collection system for obtaining, monitoring, and reporting pertinent operations data.

Other leading products that have seen a spike in sales are their newly redesigned Coolant Filtration System and Ultra Violet Bottom Coater (UVBC). The coolant filtration system allows clean coolant to be supplied to the bodymakers at a consistent pressure and temperature, resulting in improved front-end performance and lower maintenance costs. Roeslein’s UVBC applies a more wear-resistant coating to the bottom of a can or aluminum bottle providing superior protection to the bottom rim surface, resulting in the reduction of aluminum oxide formation, optimizing transfer to can conveyors, transfer plates, and machine infeeds. Both of these systems have recently been redesigned allowing for complete customization in sizing, speed, and client satisfaction.
