This past Winter, Roeslein & Associates, Inc., a leader in design-build project delivery, attended the Construction Users Roundtable National Conference in Orlando, Florida. Attending this event, led to the expansive decision to join the Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) as a way to directly interact with like-minded industry professionals and help broaden important industry standards.

CURT was founded in the fall of 2000 by construction and engineering executives representing major corporations from around the world who wanted to provide an avenue for the exchange of information, views, and policies of construction users from an array of industries.  As a not-for-profit organization, CURT strives to produce meaningful changes within the construction industry. Hosting leadership meetings quarterly, the organization aims to build the industry through an array of topics that fall into broad categories spanning international work, managing construction productivity, project delivery, safety, and workforce development.

When asked how Roeslein could benefit from membership in CURT, Pete McCall, Business Development Manager, had this to say, “With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Roeslein recognizes the need and value of collaboration between owners, designers, contractors, and vendors. Being a part of an organization that has a common goal of creating a competitive advantage for all of its members by exchanging information, sharing ideas, developing new technologies and comparing best practices seemed to align perfectly.”

Since joining the organization in March, Roeslein has developed a relationship with the organization sponsoring several events, attending leadership team meetings, a safety summit and more. With a variety of subcommittees, events, and activities, Roeslein plans to partake in several upcoming CURT events through the fall and winter months as its tradeshow schedule wraps up for the 2016 year.
