Roeslein & Associates, a global provider of engineering, modular fabrication and construction services, has acquired Debno, Poland-based MCS Technology as part of its ongoing regional expansion.

MCS is a fabrication and construction company founded in 2015, and Roeslein has been using its services for several years on projects in the container manufacturing, packaging distribution and petrochemical industries, officials said Friday. Roeslein serves both the container manufacturing industry and the process and energy sectors.

Terms of the acquisition, completed Oct. 1, were not disclosed. MCS Technology will be renamed Roeslein & Associates Poland LLC, also doing business as Roeslein Poland. MCS’ 60 employees will be retained and continue all fabrication and construction operations, officials said.

MCS’ founders and owners, Jerzy Sroka and Tomasz Czechowski, will take on leadership roles as operations director of Poland and piping supervisor/specialist, respectively, reporting to Charles Reneski, Roeslein’s divisional president of construction and operational services. The manufacturing teams will report to Divisional President of Manufacturing Rob Campbell.

The acquired company’s “experience and unique skill set will allow Roeslein to better serve its regional clients in the European market and further expand its client outreach,” Campbell said in a statement.

“Roeslein’s expansion is aimed at allowing us to better serve our clients in the North American, Asian/Middle Eastern, European and Central/South American markets,” Reneski said in a statement. “By launching regional divisions, we will be able to provide more accessibility to our resources, more efficiently control production schedules and reduce overall project costs, while allowing for additional monitoring of on-site safety.”

This new multi-level structure will apply to Roeslein’s construction, manufacturing, operational services, systems engineering, and lifecycle support divisions, officials said.

The MCS acquisition is Roeslein’s second this year. In January, Roeslein closed on its purchase of California-based Pride Conveyance Systems, which manufactures systems that transport product on production lines.

Crestwood-based Roeslein & Associates, founded by Chairman and CEO Rudi Roeslein, is one of the St. Louis region’s largest private companies, reporting 2017 revenue of $176 million. It now has over $200 million in revenue and more than 680 employees in St. Louis as well as Red Bud, Illinois; Denver; Hollister, California; Northampton, United Kingdom; Denbo, Poland; and Shanghai, China; according to company officials.
