Roeslein & Associates was proud to sponsor Children’s Home & Aid’s annual Kids & Cops 5K Donut run on April 23 on behalf of the Roeslein Way’s Charitable Giving Committee.

There are roughly 17,920 children in foster care in Illinois. More than 80% of these children enter foster care due to neglect caused by poverty, mental health issues, and substance abuse disorder. The Children’s Home & Aid’s annual 5K raised funds to strengthen families and help end the need for foster care.

Roeslein Human Resources Coordinator and CH&A volunteer Ashley Clapp was proud to represent Roeslein at the event. She said, “We can be truly proud of our company’s commitment to community partnerships that have a genuine impact.”

For more than 137 years, Children’s Home & Aid has provided children of all ages with a safe, stable home by addressing the root issues that cause families to become unstable and preventing the trauma that occurs when children are removed from their homes.
