Since joining the Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) in March, Roeslein & Associates, Inc. has become active in several of the CURT committees. These committees are led by owners who are passionate about bringing meaningful change and improvements to the areas of safety, productivity, as well as, cost-effectiveness and best practices for international capital projects.

In April, CURT hosted “Building the Future of Construction Safety” Summit and representing Roeslein was Pete McCall, Business Development Manager, and Safety Specialist, Ryan Kirkpatrick. The member meeting and safety summit were held in Cincinnati, Ohio. Attendees participated in networking sessions, presentations on a variety of topics in general safety (such as chemical storage procedure on site), leadership in safety and safety management, as well as, a speaker’s panel.

Following this event, in June, was a quarterly member meeting and LEAN Summit held in Henderson, Nevada, where Roeslein & Associates was a Silver Sponsor donating to the general event. In attendance at this event was Business Development & Marketing Director, John DeMoulin, and Business Development Manager, Pete McCall. Over the three days at this event, those in attendance focused on a variety of topics from what makes LEAN different to how to measure owner’s satisfaction, indicators to look out for, and targeting performance techniques. This event also included speaker’s panels and networking sessions.

Coming up, Roeslein will attend the quarterly member meeting and Summit titled: Owners in Transition: Doing More with Less in Charleston, South Carolina on the 13th and 14th of September.
