Roeslein Hits Another Safety Milestone: One Year Without Recordable Injury
Roeslein & Associates is proud to announce that its fabrication facility in Red Bud, IL has reached one year without a recordable injury and 541,000 hours without a lost time injury. This accomplishment comes just two months after Roeslein as a whole reached one million hours worked without a lost time incident. Roeslein’s commitment to continuous improvement in safety and productivity has been a key element to its success.
Roeslein’s Dr. Gangwei Wu Featured in The Canmaker
Dr. Gangwei Wu is director of the China Business Unit of project integrator Roeslein & Associates in Shanghai, where he manages projects, client and supplier relationships and agreements with a focus on the China and Asia business in canmaking and the unitized modular fabrication of production lines. Before joining Roeslein & Associates, which is based in St Louis, Missouri, he worked at the Merrimack brewery of Anheuser-Busch in the packaging operations and then as a lead project engineer for brewer Anheuser-Busch, managing a number of greenfield packaging lines in China. The Canmaker magazine recently featured Dr. Gangwei Wu in their Day in the Life series.

Doing More With the Addition of a Watts-Mueller Pipe Cutting Machine
Roeslein & Associates recently purchased and installed a Watts-Mueller CNC Computer Controlled W-244 Pipe Cutting Machine at its fabrication facility in Red Bud, IL. This pipe cutting machine is part of Roeslein’s recent $2 million investment in automated machinery and systems with the goal of increasing Roeslein’s fabrication efficiency and furthering its push for lean processes.
Vector Solutions Honors Ryan Kirkpatrick For Safety Achievements
On March 6th, Roeslein & Associates’ EHS Manager, Ryan Kirkpatrick, was recognized by Vector Solutions for his outstanding achievements in the area of safety at a special recognition and medal ceremony. Kirkpatrick and five other “Safety Champions” were nominated for this recognition by their peers and co-workers. Vector Solutions selected these six honorees based on each person’s special dedication to mitigating hazards in the workplace.
