For over 25 years, Roeslein & Associates has been perfecting its unitized, preassembled, modular approach toward two-piece canmaking plant integration. In response to market demand as well as the experience in identifying the shortcomings in product offerings, Roeslein has developed its own solutions to enable cans to come off the line more quickly and with less down time for the plant overall.

Roeslein’s engineering team uses its combined experience to identify, design, and fabricate a host of products to solve needs in an aluminum beverage can plant. Those systems range from the Ultra Violet Bottom Coater to enable a more smooth ride for the cans on the conveyer belt, to the innovative solution of a Mist Collector which serves to improve air quality in a plant by helping to remove particulates and mist from the process.

As in any large scale manufacturing plant, the key to success down the road is in the plant’s early stage planning. Roeslein offers a cost-effective solution to plan for additional future plant production with the addition of its Coolant System Pumpback Tanks to work in conjunction with the bodymaker portion of the canmaking process. Significant savings can be realized in new facilities since the trenches and foundations required are much smaller and less costly than the traditional coolant return system. For existing facilities, it is not necessary to dramatically disturb the existing return system, since the Pumpback Systems require a smaller trench system for operation.
