Roeslein & Associates partnered with CC1 / Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers to raise funds for Puerto Rico Earthquake Victims. $2,000 was the original employee goal, but Roeslein team members went above and beyond raising $7,601.25 on their own and Roeslein & Associates matching 100% making the total $15,202.50.
Roeslein’s Divisional President – Construction & Operational Services, Charles J. Reneski, P.E., and other Roeslein representatives made the trip to Puerto Rico along with the CC1 / Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers to present the donation.
The citizens of Puerto Rico faced devastating earthquakes that put families out of their houses with no food or shelter. Since December, these earthquakes have caused mass destruction including fatalities, no power, and damaged or destroyed homes and schools.
From the funds that Roeslein provided, Puerto Rico was able to purchase 200 tents towards the Tents for the School Program to begin rebuilding their education system. Until then, children were unable to attend school and the tents assisted in providing them with a normal routine and safe place to do their work.
