Global Food Company Expands “Manure-To-Energy” and Other Renewables Projects in North Carolina, Missouri, and Utah
Smithfield Foods, Inc. is pleased to announce, through the nationwide expansion of Smithfield Renewables, innovative projects designed to help meet its goal to reduce the company’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions 25 percent by 2025, which it set in concert with the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF). This month marks the one-year anniversary of Smithfield Renewables.
These examples articulate a growing understanding of offsite construction’s benefits, and not just in one particular market or geography and/or complementary to specific building codes. The international adoption of offsite construction will not only continue to gain momentum, but also is already starting to be standard consideration for worldwide design and construction projects.
Rudi Roeslein, founder and CEO of Roeslein & Associates and founder of Roeslein Alternative Energy (RAE, sister company to Roeslein & Associates) has been named the Conservation Federation of Missouri (CFM) Air Conservationist of the Year.
Roeslein Alternative Energy (RAE, sister company to Roeslein & Associates) was recognized for its hard work and dedication by being named to the 2016 American Biogas Council (ABC) Biogas Industry Awardees list. RAE won the “Friend of the ABC” category beating out several other nominees for its contribution to the industry through its Ruckman Farm Project.
Roeslein Alternative Energy, sister company to Roeslein & Associates, was named the 2016 Groundbreaker of the Year by BBI International, at the annual International Biomass Conference and Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina on April 12, 2016.
Roeslein Alternative Energy (RAE) has recently launched a significant project, which warrants the nomination for this award. RAE has partnered with Smithfield Hog Production (SHP) of Missouri.
