Roeslein Modular Fabrication was recently presented with the Red Bud Chamber of Commerce Appreciation Award for its efforts and services to the Red Bud Community.
Deemed an essential business, Roeslein remained in business throughout the pandemic. Unfortunately, this was not the case for several local businesses in the Red Bud area. To provide support for the community, Roeslein committed to providing carryout lunches from local restaurants for more than 200 employees during March, April, and May of 2020.
“This contribution was the least we could do for local businesses that were forced to limit their services due to the pandemic,” said Plant Manager Mike Umbdenstock. “It also provided each family with one less thing to worry about.”
Roeslein also donated 40 sets of gloves, jackets, and welding helmets to Red Bud High School. This allowed each student in the welding classes to have their own PPE when sharing was not possible due to the pandemic.
Roeslein contributed over $161,000 to local restaurants with lunches and gift cards during these three months.
