The combined display of Roeslein & Associates, Inc., CarnaudMetalBox Engineering (CMB), and Pride Conveyance won Best Booth of the Show at the 2016 Cannex/Fillex Tradeshow in Denver, Colorado, on April 27-29, 2016. This award was bestowed upon the companies following the completion of the show and proved a success for their integration and innovation of a newly thought-out structure.
The high-rise booth was created by combining a 30 x 80 prefabricated unit section of a beverage can production line that would be constructed by Roeslein & Associates, with two Reformat inside-spray machines, the latest creation of CarnaudMetalBox, with two types of conveyance systems from Pride Conveyance. The booth span two trade show exhibits and a walkway creating a two story, lifelike demonstration of what the companies plan to produce.
Roeslein will innovatively integrate CMB equipment and Pride conveyance systems in its unitized, modular approach to building all D&I canmaking plants. With an increased output in-house, they will be able to reduce the total lead time for delivery of their preassembled, unitized systems.
Most recently, the companies came together for the construction of a food plant in which the first cans were produced 10 months following the civil engineering performed by Roeslein. This type of acceleration and integration on a project allows for the clients to receive a highly efficient canmaking system that is ready to produce cans months faster than the competition.
“After 25 years of delivering our Unitized systems to over 55 countries and providing the preferred solution to most of the major can makers we continue to innovate and find ways to reduce our costs,” said Rudi Roeslein, CEO of Roeslein & Associates. He continued, “We have played a major role in reducing risk, time to market, and producing the best beverage package in the world. We are grateful to the industry and our clients for the opportunity to play a role in making the D&I Aluminum beverage can the package of choice for the most widely used package in the world.”
