Roeslein & Associates has always been a firm believer in innovation and continuous improvement; these principles are what motivated its founder and CEO, Rudi Roeslein, to develop what became Roeslein’s unique methodology: Modularization, Unitization, and Preassembly. As Roeslein has grown from primarily a metal container supplier into a player in other process industries such as petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical and renewable energy, it remains committed to a model of innovation and improvement when presented with new opportunities to serve its clients. It is in this spirit, and based in part on the input and instigation of loyal clients, that Roeslein continues to expand its fabrication capabilities for line support equipment like coolant filtration systems (soluble oil filtration modules). As Roeslein does this, the reputation it has earned for quality and efficiency presents its clients with a time- and money-saving opportunity. Clients can take advantage of new fabricated product offerings such as this one, to simplify their supply chain when Roeslein is already engineering, fabricating, and installing their plant process systems.
By single-sourcing more support components, engineers and procurement staffs enjoy fewer points of contact, and many of the cost control, scheduling, and efficiency benefits of Modularization, Unitization, and Preassembly. As part of this process we can better integrate line support components with production equipment to improve production output and efficiency. For example, Roeslein soluble oil filter systems are integrated to ensure quality communication with the front-end line control panel. This way when the soluble oil filter is not local to the front-end system, the operator for the bodymakers is aware of the filter’s status.
These coolant filtration systems (soluble oil filter systems) are available in single (dirty only), or double (clean plus dirty) tank configurations. Roeslein uses high-quality, brand name components, and engineers its systems for reliable operation with automatic, online cartridge filter changeover. Cuno Micro-Klean III cartridges in Cuno ES24 filter housings provide from 1 to 150-micron filtration for up to 20 bodymakers (10-micron standard). 1000 gallon sump pump tanks with vertical pumps (impellor inside for no priming) are standard, and variable frequency drives (VFD’s) automatically adjust coolant flow using data from supply line pressure sensors connected to the programmable logic controller (PLC). The production time for a Roeslein coolant filtration system (soluble oil filtration system) is approximately 20 weeks.
