In partnership with the Missouri Prairie Foundation, Roeslein & Associates co-hosted a native plant sale at their St. Louis headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, on Friday, September 30th.
Organized by the Roeslein Way’s Environmental Stewardship Committee, the sale included a variety of native plants provided by Gaylena’s Garden, Missouri Wildflowers Nursery, Papillon Perennials, and River City Natives. The vendors donated five percent of all proceeds to the Missouri Prairie Foundation, and this amount was matched by Roeslein’s Charitable Giving committee. In total, $1,550 was donated to the MPF for their conservation work.
“The Roeslein Way Environmental Stewardship Committee was excited to co-host a native plant sale with the Missouri Prairie Foundation again this year,” said Sarah Keifer, SharePoint & Data Analyst Manager. “Our inaugural sale in 2021 was a huge success! It was great to see the reach of the Missouri Prairie Foundation at work as employees and community members gathered to purchase native plants from local vendors who are professional members of the Missouri Prairie Foundation’s Grow Native! Program. We love supporting local businesses and look forward to continuing to spread native plants throughout the gardens within our community.”
