As each particular project progresses Roeslein applies its innovative and proven methodology to identify responsibilities, engineer efficient designs, and deploy resources prudently for the benefit of the client’s budgets and schedule. During Phase 5: Commissioning and Start Up, Roeslein implements stringent protocols to ensure that cost and schedule savings accrued over the life of the project translate into smoothly and efficiently operating equipment.
Five Phase Approach: Phase 4 – Installation
Installation is phase 4 in Roeslein’s unique approach; it is the first step that takes place “in the field.”
Because Roeslein & Associates strives to achieve a clear understanding of each client’s unique goals and objectives at the start of every project, it positions its installation teams to execute with maximum effectiveness and efficiency on the job site.
Five Phase Approach: Phase 3 – Procurement and Prefabrication
Building on the foundation of the design & engineering segments of the project, Roeslein’s Phase 3 approach seamlessly transforms meticulous planning and design into concrete action. As the project enters into the fabrication process at one of its three fabrication facilities, the exceptional benefits of its unique Unitized, Modularized, and Preassembled methodology take center stage.
Five Phase Approach: Phase 2 – Detailed Design & Engineering
Roeslein & Associates undertakes every project with a clear understanding of its client’s imperative to bridge specific goals with its bottom line. Therefore, during every step of the 5-Phase Process, Roeslein’s engineers consistently evaluate project components with regard to cost, schedule, and quality. When Roeslein is involved at the Preliminary Engineering phase of the project, the preliminary design elements developed during Phase 1 – such as Process Flow diagrams, P & ID’s, Mass Balance Lists and Construction Specifications – support a smooth and seamless transition into Phase 2: Detailed Design & Engineering.
Five Phase Approach: Phase 1 – Conceptual Design
Phase One: Conceptual Design Phase. For most large cap expenditure projects, the earlier Roeslein is involved, the more effectively Roeslein’s methodology identifies efficiencies. At each step in the 5-Phase Approach, Roeslein evaluates project components relative to cost, schedule, and quality priorities. Roeslein then helps the client give the proper weight to each of these priorities for each project component and analyze data for the development of final feasibility studies. As part of the Conceptual Design Phase, Roeslein assists the client in the development of preliminary planning in five key areas: scope, budgets, responsibilities, schedules, and preliminary design.
How Unitization, Modularization, and Preassembly Accelerates Construction Schedules
By breaking down complex manufacturing systems and its components into self-contained unit sections, Roeslein moves a major portion of the construction process from the job-site, to a more controlled environment at one of its three fabrication facilities in Red Bud, IL; Hollister, CA; or Shanghai, China. In terms of project efficiency, this means that the on-site facility construction schedule significantly overlaps the equipment engineering and construction schedule, shortening the overall project by weeks, or frequently even months.
Roeslein Opens Asia Operations in China
Celebrating twenty years of service to the canmaking industry under the same ownership, Roeslein & Associates is proud to announce the opening of Roeslein China operations. Roeslein’s new state of the art engineering and fabrication facility comprises a brand new, 3000 square meter facility located thirty minutes from the Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
